Romeo and Juliet Ballet Inspired Artwork

You can get your very own copy of Ink Arabesque ballet artwork on a range of gorgeous gift items. Even better, most of them can be personalized with a name (or text of your choice) to create a unique, customized ballet gift.

Today I’m introducing the first two products in my Romeo & Juliet ballet range. This was inspired by the many different dancers who have taken on the role of the young lovers in different productions around the world.

I hope you’ll enjoy the romance and delicate beauty of the dancers, as they mirror each other in their pose. Romeo wears a flowing shirt and boots, and Juliet is in the floaty, long nightgown that has become associated with ballerinas in this role. Her hair is in a Renaissance style with a loose bun and small braids with pearl detail.

The painting has a oil-painted style and features pretty pastel tints to capture the romantic mood of the dancers.

Ballet Theme Bone China Mug

The bone china tea cup offers a more elegant way to take your hot drinks. Using the template provided by my print-on-demand store (Zazzle), you can easily change the wording. You only need to do this once. The text automatically appears beneath the ballet dancers graphic, repeated three times around the mug — so you can admire the graceful figures from any angle. If you want a less ornate font, or need more space, use the Customize option on the product page and you’ll be able to make fine-tuned adjustments to font size and colour, or choose a different text style.

Dancers on Jersey Scarf

The white jersey scarf also has this delicate and graceful ballet design with ‘Romeo & Juliet’ text below. You can of course change the wording to something of your choice, using the on-page template. (The scarf doesn’t have further customisation options — but feel free to contact me if you have something specific you’d like and I can create a custom art scarf for you.)

You can also get the scarf in grey jersey. While it’s available in black and navy, the nature of this particular design means the figures will show against a white background. For that reason, I only recommend this one for the light colours, but am always happy to talk to customers if you’d like something that works on the darker fabrics.

Romeo & Juliet Phone Case and Chiffon Scarf

You can personalize the iPhone case pictured above with a name to make it your own. It has a close-up of the dancers. Also seen above is the monogrammed chiffon scarf, which has a space for your initials in the lower corner and repeats the Romeo and Juliet dancers in a tiled pattern. Both the phone cover and the elegant scarf are an ice blue, but can easily be customized to show the ballerina and her partner against a different background shade.

Ink Arabesque on Zazzle

You’ll be seeing this original Ink Arabesque ballet artwork on a wider range of products very soon.

At the moment, it is available exclusively on Zazzle in the inkarabesque store — to make sure you get an authentic version, please don’t buy from anywhere else. I’ve been working with Zazzle for many years now, and the company has a worldwide presence and a 100% customer satisfaction (or full refund) guarantee, so you can shop there with confidence.
